History

Enwealth Foundation Limited is the social impact and philanthropic arm of the Enwealth Group, working on the root causes of poverty, vulnerability and exclusion in Kenya. It began in 2012 as the Enwealth Fanisi scholarship for bright learners whose families could not pay school fees, and was established as a foundation on 17 June 2022.

Vision

A lifetime of restored dignity, renewed hope, empowerment and transformation.

Mission

Empowering communities for sustainable socio-economic transformation through biblical values.

Impact of Enwealth Foundation

  • The Foundation’s oldest and largest work: scholarships for bright and needy children, the mentorship that runs alongside them, and the alumni who came through both. It has run since 2012.

  • Under the Dignified Shelter for Vulnerable Widows Project the Foundation has built two one-bedroom houses across Kisii and Nyamira, each with plastered walls, roofing and private sanitation, and each built with the household’s own labour. The right to accessible and adequate housing is in Article 43 of the Constitution.
